Mary Jo Peterson is president of Mary Jo Peterson, Inc., a Connecticut-based design firm that focuses on residential projects and provides design support to private clients as well as major homebuilders nationwide. Certified in kitchen, bath, aging-in-place, and active adult housing design with 25 years experience, Mary Jo’s work has earned national recognition, including induction to the NKBA Hall of Fame in 2009. With specific expertise in universal design, she has authored three books on the subject and is a frequent national speaker and educator. Among her affiliations are active membership in NAHB, NKBA, and other national accessibility councils.
Janice Pattee is the president of Janice Pattee Design, an interior design and consulting firm located in Indianapolis, IN, specializing in kitchen and bath design. Janice is certified in kitchen design (CKD), a chair holder in the Color Marketing Group (CMG) and currently is VP of Programs for Indiana Chapter NKBA. She works with a wide spectrum of local and national clients. Throughout her career, Janice’s designs have been published in numerous shelter and trade magazines; “Traditional Home Magazine,” “BH&G Kitchen and Bath Ideas”, “Midwest Living” to name a few. Janice’s career in the kitchen and bath industry spans over 25 years. Her passion for good design is reflected in her work.
