Dale passed away just before 4 pm today. I have prayed to God the past few days that He remove Dale's suffering and allow him to go into His kingdom. I asked Him to take Dale gently, with dignity, and with little pain. God answered my prayers, as well as many of yours.
I am fairly confident that visitation will be this Friday from 4-8, with a memorial service Saturday at noon. Both will be held at St. Lukes United Methodist Church just off Meridian on 86th St. There will be a private graveside service prior to the memorial service on Saturday. I will send details after I meet with the pastors over the next few days. There will be a gathering after the memorial service. The location is not yet confirmed, so I will send that information later.
From Dale, Alex, Sophia and me to each of you: We are blessed beyond words I can find to have your support, presence, love, prayers, and gifts of so much magnitude. If love could have saved Dale, he would have lived forever.
All my gratitude, appreciation, and love to you, Jacki
